PURPOSE:To reduce a molten metal supplying time, to shorten a transporting distance and to prevent a temp. drop by constituting a combination of a pot dipped up the molten metal in a crucible with shifting up and down and a pouring bar submerged into the molten metal in the pot to adjust a shotting volume of the molten metal. CONSTITUTION:The pot 8 is lowered toward the crucible 5 to dip in the molten metal 6 by extension movement of a driving cylinder 11 for the pot, and after measuring the necessary time, which the molten metal is dipped up in the pot 8, by a timer, the pot 8 is elevated to a little upward molten metal surface by contraction movement of the cylinder 11. Then, the pot is stopped after elevation till an upper limit position by successive contraction movement of the cylinder 11. Next, the spout 25 is set just at pouring position for the molten metal by contraction movement of a driving cylinder for the spout, and the pouring bar 12 is lowered by extension movement of a driving cylinder 14 for the supplying bar, and consequently the bar 12 is submerged into the molten metal 6 in the pot 8. Then, the molten metal 6 in the pot 8 is overflowed from a pouring mouth 34 of the pot 8 and is poured to the sprue 7 through the spout 25. |
