PURPOSE:To stick a piece shaped metal on a sheet with extremely exact dimen sional accuracy by removing non-pressfitting part with its suction after passing the roll couple having the recessed part for nonpressfitting by overlapping a strip like metal foil on a strip metal sheet. CONSTITUTION:A provisional press-fitting part 2A is formed by passing a strip metal foil 2 through the space between the rolls 5, 6 for primary press-fitting on which the recessed part 7 for non-pressfitting is formed by overlapping it on a strip metal sheet 1. Then, the 1st metallic foil strip piece 2C at both sides is removed by its separation by leaving the center part and a metallic foil fragment 2E is left by removing the nonpressfitting part 2B at the center with its suction as well. The main pressfitting is performed by passing through the roll couple for secondary press-fitting having a smooth face the sheet 1 in this state. the peripheral edge part of the metallic foil fragment 2E is there fore formed linearly, yet arranged at a fixed pitch and the piece metal having extremely correct dimensional accuracy can be joined by affixing it on the sheet.
