PURPOSE:To remove fishy smell and obtain the titled inexpensive food rich in nutritive value, by adding and mixing a ground meat material of a raw aquatic animal with uncooked mashed potato and common salt, filling the resultant mixture in an insulating vessel and aging, heating and sterilizing the mixture by Joule's heat generated by electric conduction. CONSTITUTION:Adequate amounts of uncooked mashed potato and common salt are added to a ground fish meat material, e.g. sardine or saury, and the resultant mixture is mixed while stirring. The resultant mixed material 4 is then filled and contained in an insulating vessel 6 and a current is passed through electrode plates 8 and 10. The mixed material 4 is aged, heated and sterilized at almost 80-90 deg.C by the generated Joule's heat and fishy smell is removed by mixing with flavor of the potato. |
