VULCANIZABLE COMPOUNDS

The application relates to vulcanizable compounds containing new rubbers which are special polyisoprenes and amorphous isoprene/styrene copolymers. The compounds, and vulcanized produets produced therefrom, possess an advantageous combination of properties. Worthy of emphasis is the satisfactory covulcanizing ability of the new rubbers when blended with other rubbers the extraordinarily high gastightness of the vulcanized products and, above all, their unusually high resistance to swelling in nonpolar organic media.
