PURPOSE:To always place cells in a environment suitable for cell growth during the growth period, by providing a separating and separately injecting part, tray transferring part and pH measuring part in the interior of a cultivation part and controlling the respective parts with a controller. CONSTITUTION:A separating and separately injecting part, tray transferring part 9 and pH measuring part 11 are provided in the interior of a cultivation part 1 equipped with a tray stock 2 containing plural cultivation trays. If the pH value is beyond the range suitable for growth, a culture fluid is exchanged by opening of a lid of a tray on a tray table 8 by a handler 10, movement of the tray to the position of a pipet manipulator 4, insertion of a pipet 3 into the culture fluid, suction of the culture fluid by a pump 5, extrusion of the culture fluid into a waste reservoir 13 and extrusion of a culture fluid 6 in a constant amount. After completing all the exchange of the culture fluid, the lid is mounted by the handler 10 and the tray is housed in the tray stock 2.
