PURPOSE:To enable stabilization of an idle rotation, by a method wherein, based on the number of revolutions of an engine during idle running and the number of revolutions for an set idle load, a feedback control signal is outputted to opening control valves in a correction fuel passage and a correction air passage. CONSTITUTION:By detecting an idle condition from the opening of a throttle valve by means of an idle detector 23, a control circuit 19 generated a comparison voltage VR by means of a reference voltage generator 27. The comparison voltage and an actual number of revolutions voltage VIN, detected and converted by a sensor 20 and a voltage converter 24, are compared with each other by a differential amplifier 28, and a deviation signal therefrom is proportionally integrated and computed. According to the result and a triangular wave signal from a triangular wave generator 32, a control valve 17 is controlled in a corresponding ratio through a comparator 31 and a power circuit 33 to vary the openings of a correction fuel passage and a correction air passage. When an electric load is detected by a detector 21, a high comparison voltage is generated from a generator 25, and when an air conditioning load is detected by a detector 22, a further higher comparison voltage is produced by a generator 26.
