PURPOSE:To surely impart electroconductivity to a polymer film while inhibiting dissolution of the polymer film, by performing electrolysis at a specified temperature in an electrolyte containing a monomer which forms an electroconductive polymer by using an anode to which surface an insulating polymer film is adhered. CONSTITUTION:An electrolyte 5 comprising an electrolyte such as LiBF4 and acetonitrile in which a monomer which forms an electroconductive polymer by electrolytic oxidation (e.g., pyrrole) is placed in an electrolytic cell 4 and is cooled to a temperature <= the glass transition temperature of a polymer film 2 by means of a cooling tank 7 in which a coolant 8 comprising dry ice and methanol is placed and is revolved round the cell 4 by an agitator 9. The electrolysis performed by using a cathode 3 comprising a Ni gauze plate, a DC source 6 in a state in which an insulating polymer film 2 to which electroconductivity can be imparted, such as epoxy or nitrile rubber, is adhered to the surface of an anode 1 comprising In.Sn oxide-attached glass.
