摘要 PURPOSE:To improve workability by constituting a bending part of movable and stationary bending parts to bend an optical fiber core during measurement and releasing the bend when the measurement ends in the stage of making light incident on the optical fiber core from the side while bending the core and measuring the parameter of the fiber. CONSTITUTION:A gate-shaped stationary frame 12 is erected on a base plate 8 and the stationary bending part 13 provided with bending bars 15 at intervals toward the lower side is attached to the cross bar thereof. A clamper 10 positioned to one vertical bar is fixed to the stationary bending part 13 side and a clamper 10' having a fulcrum 20 and stand 11 is disposed to the other vertical bar side and is pressed to the vertical bar by a spring 18. A rack 16 driven by a motor 17 having a pinion and the movable bending part 14 provided with bending bars toward the upper side are freely slidably disposed to the base plate 8. The optical fiber core 9 is held by the clampers 10 and 10'. The device is constituted in the above-mentioned manner. The core 9 is bent by alternately inserting the bending bars and the light from a tungsten lamp 19 is irradiated therein. The parameter of the fiber is then measured.
