PURPOSE:To prevent stator coils from being deformed, by winding up the inner periphery and the outer periphery of the stator coils at an end section, with banded rings, and by binding the stator coils and a spacer with each other via the rings. CONSTITUTION:A spacer 1 having a specified thickness is inserted into a space between a plurality of stator coils 3 protruded from a stator core 2, especially between the stator coils close to or in adjacent contact with the end section of the core. The inner periphery and the outer periphery of the stator coil 3 with the positioned spacer 1 are wound up with tapes 4a, 4b in a ring shape, and the stator coils with the spacer 1 between them via the tapes 4a, 4b wound up and in adjacent contact with each other are bound with a tape 4, and the stator coil 3, the spacer 1, and the tapes 4a, 4b are integrally retained. As a result, the stator coils can be prevented from being deformed in the peripheral direction and in the diametral direction.
