PURPOSE:To effectively use output light by leading output light beams of a light emitting element, which outputs polarized light from the front and the rear, to a polarizing mirror by optical fibers and synthesizing two output light beams. CONSTITUTION:An output beam A from the front of a light emitting 10 is inputted to one input part of an optical synthesizer 15 through an optical fiber 12 and a lens 17, and an output light B from the rear has the plane of polarization made vertical to the plane of polarization of the light A and is inputted to the other input part of the synthesizer 15 through an optical fiber 13 and a lens 18. The light A goes straight through a polarizing mirror 16 provided in the synthesizer 15, but the light B is reflected on the mirror 16. As the result, beams A and B are synthesized, and a two-fold light A or B passes a lens 19 and is outputted from an optical fiber 14. |
