<p>Apparatus for placing used tyres into a machine for renewing the tread. F1-. Comprises two holding devices in the shape of shells mounted on arms which move symmetrically in opposite directions along a vertical axis. The assembly is able to pivot about this vertical axis. The tyre is placed on the lower holding shell, and the two arms are moved towards each other to grip the tyre at its upper and lower periphery. The assembly is then pivoted about the vertical axis to place the tyre in the reteaching machine.</p> |
