PURPOSE:To prevent impact upon stoppage of steering operation and to enable quick and smooth steering operation by obtaining a difference from a steering target on the basis of a command signal and a detection signal, thereby controlling the opening of a solenoid valve in accordance with the magnitude of said differential signal. CONSTITUTION:A steering wheel potentiometer 16 is functioned through operation of a steering wheel 14 and a specific command signal is produced. Then, the existing steering angles of respective steering wheels 2, 3 are detected by the potentiometers 17, 18. On the basis of the command signal and the detection signal, a difference against a steering target is obtained together with a referential signal and the solenoid valves 19, 22 are driven in accordance with the magnitude of said differential signal such that the opening will vary approximately in proportion thereto, thereby the steering cylinders 7, 11 are functioned. Consequently, the steering cylinders 7, 11 will function quickly if the difference between the command signal and the detection signal is high while the function becomes slower as the steering wheels 2, 3 approach to the target, thereby it will never cause impact upon stoppage of steering operation resulting in quick and smooth steering. |
