PURPOSE:To make the carrier stated in the headline compact by constructing an carrier of two plate members, forming bearing holes supporting one planetary gear on both members, disposing a boss for supporting the other planetary gear on the other side and securing the plate members by means of the member penetrating the planetary gear. CONSTITUTION:A boss 50 supporting a second planetary gear 28b is disposed on the first plate member 32b, and a second plate member 23b is connected by thereto means of a rivet 48 penetrating the boss 50, while said second planetary gear 28b being engaged with the second sun gear inside and the second ring gear outside. A first planetary gear 30b engaged with the second planetary gear 28b is supported by means of a shaft 58 pressed into bearing holes 58a, 58b of both plate member 32a, 32b. The first planetary gear 30b is engaged with a first sun gear 30a and a first ring gear. Accordingly, the space for connecting together both plate member 32a, 32b is not needed between the first and second planetary gears 28b, 30b and the whole size of the device becomes compact.
