PURPOSE:To reduce the diameter of a wire furnace by arranging parts for preventing overcurrent in the vicinity of a switch element, then connecting one end to a joint between the switch element and a load while the other end to an abnormality detecting element. CONSTITUTION:One ends of resistors 17-1-17-N are connected to respective joints between the loads 5-1-5-N and the relays 9-1-9-N while the other ends are connected to the lamps 14-1-14-N. When a switch 3-1 is turned on, for example, a load 5-1 is driven to light a lamp 14-1. In case of the portion of the wires 18-1-18-N to the car body, the current flowing through the wires 18-1-18-N is limited below a predetermined level by means of the resistors 17-1-17-N. Consequently, said wires 18-1-18-N may have small diameter.
