PURPOSE:To facilitate reliable automatic restarting of a compressor by taking AND conditions of a start confirming signal, a stop signal and a temporal interruption detection signal upon recovery of power source after stoppage of the compressor due to temporal interruption of the power source, thereby producing a restart command signal. CONSTITUTION:Upon throw-in of a power source, a keep relay 1 is reset after elapsing the setting time of a power source checking timer 3 in a decision circuit 100. While when a starting switch 10 is made on, an electromagnetic switch 5 is excited and a main contact 11 is closed, thus driving a motor 12 for a compressor. At the same time, an off-delay timer 2 is set to perform setting operation of the keep relay 1. Upon occurrence of temporal power interruption at the power source side under this condition, the electromagnetic switch 5 is de-energized to stop the motor 12. If the power source is recovered within the setting time of the timer 2, power is fed to a temporal interruption confirming relay 4, thereby a restart commanding relay 8 is excited after elapsing the setting time of a restart preparing timer 6 and then the motor 12 is started again.
