PURPOSE:To prevent burning by utilizing the centrifugal force to be produced in the inner ring of a bearing upon rotation of the drive shaft of a scroll type fluid machine for compressor of refrigerating machine and lubricating a contacting face between the inner ring and a thrust plate, thereby forming an oil film onto the entire face. CONSTITUTION:In a system where the rotation of a drive shaft 5 through a motor section will cause rotation of a revolving scroll not shown and a gaseous fluid in a chamber defined between a fixed scroll is compressed, the lubricant scooped from a lubrication path 11 upon rotation of the drive shaft 5 is led through an oil path 12 to an annular recess 6d formed in an inner ring 6a of a bearing 6. Rotation of the drive shaft 5 will cause following rotation of the inner ring 6a of the bearing 6 and produce centrifugal force in the inner ring 6a. Said centrifugal force is utilized for feeding the lubricant in the annular recess 6d radially outward between the inner ring 6a and a facing thrust receiving face 14a, thereby an oil film can be formed entirely between them 6a, 14a. |
