PURPOSE:To improve the S/N by inserting a film made of a metal oxide between a core of a head and a glass restricting the track width of the gap so as to suppress the resonance by tape slide. CONSTITUTION:Since the film 10 made of a metal oxide whose thickness is >=10mu is inserted between the ferrite core 6 of the head and the glasses 7, 8 restricting the track width of the gap 9, the vibration of the glasses 7, 8 at tape sliding is hardly delivered to the core 6. Thus, the resonance due to the tape slide is suppressed to improve the S/N. |
