PURPOSE:To enable information printed on a recording paper to be easily confirmed and enable internal apparatuses and the recording paper to be protected from water, oil, dust or the like present in the exterior of a printer, by guiding a printed recording paper discharged through an outlet port along the outer peripheral surface of an arcuate, transparent first cover, and surrounding the outer periphery of the first cover by a transparent second cover. CONSTITUTION:A printed recording paper 42 is guided through a gap formed between an arcuate part 60 of a first cover 6 and an arcuate part 70 of a second cover 7, and is fed into a containing space 71. In this case, the recording paper 42 is curled in one direction by a containing part guide part 62 provided at the first cover, and is contained in an orderly rolled state. The printed recording paper 42 thus contained in the space 71 can be taken out by opening a door 73, while the paper 42 being normally protected from the exterior by the second cover 7. A roll 41, a recording paper 4 and an inlet port 12 are protected from the exterior by the first cover 6, and an outlet port 11 and the printed recording paper 42 are protected from the exterior by the second cover 7. |
