PURPOSE:To enable a type wheel to be easily attached and detached with a selection motor remaining fixed to a carriage frame by attaching a wheel catch to a rotary shaft of the selection motor in freely slidable manner and assisting the wheel catch to move to a type wheel side with a coil spring. CONSTITUTION:An angular bar-type rotary shaft 23 is provided protruding on a motor shaft 22 of a selection motor 20, and a slider 24 is fitted to the rotary shaft 23. Further a wheel catch 27 is fitted to the surface of the slider 24 and the wheel catch is fixed with a set screw 28 so that the slider 24 may rotate in relation to the type wheel 29 and also may not come off. The type wheel 29 is pressed to a flange 27a of the wheel catch 27 by a leaf spring for pressing the wheel 30. If a lever 31 is tilted toward the type wheel 29 side, the type wheel 29 held by the wheel catch 27 and leaf spring 30 is released, thus allowing the type wheel 29 to be attached/detached with the selection motor 20 left fixed to a carriage frame 21. |
