PURPOSE:To increase strength, by a method wherein a rudder supporting member is supported by two struts. CONSTITUTION:A rudder 13 is supported to an upper rudder support material 6 and a lower rudder support material 8 through the medium of pintles 7. The lower rudder support material 8 is mounted to a ship hull 1 through the medium of struts 9, and each of the struts 9 and the ship hull form triangular truss structure.
