PURPOSE:To eliminate the need to access unnecessary information by providing a nonvolatile memory for storing resolved image information and a restoring means which restores the resolved image information. CONSTITUTION:When the image information processor is powered on, a key waiting image surface is read out of a hard disk 5 and developed on an image memory 3, and also developed on a display memory 8 through a bit manipulation unit 13 and displayed on a CRT 9 so as to allow an operator to recognize a key waiting state visually. When the operator looks at the CRT 9 and indicates necessary information by using keys 10 or a pointing device 11, and this information is reported to a CPU 1 through an interface 12. Then, necessary image information is developed on the image memory 3 from a CDRCO 7 through a disk interface 4 under the control of the CPU 1. Consequently, access to unnecessary information is eliminated.
