PURPOSE:To lengthen the life of a fender product by forming an annular air chamber on the inside of the side wall of an outer case. CONSTITUTION:A foamed material 4 is packed into an outer case 1 of an U-shaped cross section, and the opening of the case 1 is closed by a base plate 2. An annular air chamber 1b with a valve is formed on the inside of the side wall 1a of the case 1. The rigidity of the wall of the case 1 in the compressing direction is made higher, permitting loads to be received by both the case 1 and the foamed material 4. Even when the fender receives deforming forces, since aperture is hardly formed between the case 1 and the material 4 and the case 1 is hardly crumpled, the life of the fender can be lengthened.
