PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition having excellent tack, adhesive power, and cohesive power, by mixing an emulsion for a self-adhesive with a higher alcohol. CONSTITUTION:An emulsion for a self-adhesive (A) (e.g., a rubber-base or acrylic emulsion) having a glass transition temperature lower than the service temperature by 20-30 deg.C is mixed with a water-insoluble 6-18C monohydric or dihydric alcohol (B) (e.g., lauryl alcohol) in an amount of 0.1-5wt% (based on the solids of component A).
