<p>PURPOSE:To continuously fractionate and recover >=1 kinds of low melting metals with good thermal efficiency in an inclined furnace which heats waste and fractionates the high and low melting metals by covering the waste which is successively lowered on the hearth with ascending flame and combustion gaseous flow. CONSTITUTION:The upper hearth 2 of an inclined furnace body 1 has the surface condition and inclination at which the waste 4 does not slide down or fall only by the own weight or the own weight and the inertia of movement but is easily moved by the force toward the lower side along the hearth. Articles 7 are fed into the furnace by a pusher 7 from a feed base 6 in the direction of the hearth 2 extending toward the outside of the hearth 2; at the same time, the articles 4 on the hearth 2 are successively moved downward. On the other hand, the flame and combustion gas of a main burner 16 rise while heating the articles 4 and the furnace inside and enter a flue 18 from an inlet 17. The low melting metal in the articles 4 melt and the molten metal thereof accumulates in a molten metal reservoir 11. The molten metal is taken out from an outlet 13 according to need. The articles 4-Y, with which the elution of the low melting metal is completed, glide downward or fall on the slope of the lower hearth 3 from the bottom end of the hearth 4 and are discharged as the residues of the high melting metal from the bottom end of the furnace.</p> |
