PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for setting energizing time by optically monitoring the position of a sample fractionated by energization and ending the energization to a base. CONSTITUTION:The light from an LED42 is reflected on a reflection surface 39 and irradiates the base 20. The image of the sample S on the base 20 is formed on a photodetecting surface of an image sensor 30. The output signal from the image sensor 30 is processed by a signal processing circuit 44. A position detecting circuit 46 determines the position of the sample S in accordance with the digital signal from an analog-to-digital converter 45. An arithmetic circuit 47 calculates electrical mobility in accordance with the determined position. A discriminating circuit 48 discriminates whether the electrical mobility attains a prescribed value or not. A CPU49 makes the control of a migration power source 51 in addition to the control of the input and output to and from the respective circuits 46, 47, 48 and the supply of a synchronizing circuit to the signal processing circuit 44 and the analog-to-digital converter 45. |
