PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a spark when large current is supplied by forming energizing bar liners to contact anode electrodes into a brush shape. CONSTITUTION:The anode electrodes 20 formed of zinc, etc., are placed on the two energizing metallic bars 21, 22. The sectional shape of the energizing bar liners 23, 24 of the respective bars 21, 22 is formed into the brush shape. The energizing bars 25, 26 for fixing the liners 23, 24 are held by holders 27, 28 coated with rubber lining. Since the rear surface of the anode electrodes 20 contacts the liners 23, 24 made into the brush shape in an electroplating operation, the rear surface of the anode electrodes 20 is in a rough state. The contact state is stabilized if the anode electrodes 20 slide therein in this state and therefore, the generation of the spark is obviated even if a large current is supplied.
