PURPOSE:To enable a smaller device, by partially restricting the flow rate of a gas introduced into a group of tubes, by a bypass passage having a low resistance. CONSTITUTION:A heat exchanger tube group 2 is provided between an upper header and a lower header in a duct 1, and is covered by a plate body 3 on one side thereof so that a bypass passage 5 in a stream line shape or other similar shape is provided between the curved plate body 3 and a front wall 4 of the duct 1. The inlet 6 to the bypass passage 5 is opened to the side of a duct inlet 7, while the outlet 8 of the bypass passage 5 is opened and communicated to the side of a duct outlet 9, and a curved baffle plate 10 is provided on the outlet side of the passage 5 in the state of being fixed to upper and lower surfaces of the duct, separated from the front wall 4 of the duct and separated from the plate body 3. At the inlet 6 is provided a one-side-openable damper 14 which is movably fitted 13 to an end part of the plate body 3 and can be turned by an actuator. When the bypass passage 5 is shut off by the damper 14, the flow rate of a gas supplied to the heat exchanger tube group 2 is maximized. When the damper is turned to be opened to a dotted-line position 15, the gas flow rate in the passage 5 is maximized, while the flow rate of the gas supplied to the tube group through the remaining opening part 16 is restricted. |
