PURPOSE:To avoid wasting of excessive energy, by informing the installation user of conditions to be set such as an operating time band and a temperature set point according to outside-air temperature, room temperature or ventilating conditions. CONSTITUTION:Items inputted by a user through an input part 4 are roughly classified into basic input data, operating condition settings and a data display request. The various items can be inputted by using only a ten-key device and a dicimal point key while referencing item numbers required in a user guide menu system on a display part 6. For example, based on the basic input data such as room constitution, energy cost and apparatus specifications, values of energy consumption per hour, cost and the like under the current operating condition settings are calculated, and are displayed on the display part 6 together with those values in an energy-conserving operation which are calculated based on a predetermined combination of cooling/heating capability, air quantity, a temperature set point and the like stored in a storage part 5. Accordingly, the user can modify the condition settings through the input part 4, as required, and can select a condition for better energy conservation.
