PURPOSE:To connect optically two optional optical fibers by arranging n pieces of optical fibers on the oblique lines of an n-polygonal pyramid and arranging a reflector on the point side of the optical fibers so that the vertex of the n-polygonal pyramid is include in the reflecting surface of the reflector and the reflecting surface is intersected with the center line of the n-polygonal pyramid. CONSTITUTION:The optical fibers 1a-1c are fitted to respective oblique line parts 12a-12c of a truncated pyramid 11. The reflector 13 is arranged on the point side of the pyramid, the reflecting surface 14 is arranged so as to be intersected with the center line X of the pyramid 11 and the rotation axis 15 is pout on the center line X. The reflector 13 includes the vertex of the n- polygonal pyramid and the intersected angle between the reflecting surface 14 and the center line X is held at a fixed value or changed. Since the intersected angle alpha is fixed to make the intersected angle alpha always at a constant value, the reflector 13 and the rotation axis 15 are mutually fixed, but when it is necessary to change the intersected angle, the reflector 13 and the rotation axis 15 are mutually pivoted by a pivoting means through a pin or the like and the reflector 13 can be optionally oscillated around the rotation axis 15. |
