PURPOSE:To effect dynamical identification of a change in lift by floating of a head part, by obtaining image data expressing the floating condition of the head part in such a condition that optical interference fringes are generated instantaneously by allowing a light source stroboscopic light emission at a timing corresponding to rotating angle position of a disk. CONSTITUTION:A rotating angle position of a disk 3 is detected by rotating position data AG issued from a rotating position data generating means 42 in a floated condition of a head part 4 and stroboscopic light emitting means 43, 41 allow emission of stroboscopic light 22 when these data AG are coincided 43 with measuring position indicating data CAG. This light is used as the illuminating light 1, relative to disk 3 and head part 4. Consequently, a change in floating condition of the floating head part 4 regarding the indicated measuring position can be obtained by image data available for dynamic identification.
