PURPOSE:To easily detect converting magnification corresponding to the size of an original by providing a measuring piece to be adjusted with the end part of the original and an indication part for indicating a geometrical progression scale corresponding to the zooming magnification of the original size measured by the measuring piece. CONSTITUTION:An original P to be varied at its magnification is set up on an original glass 14 of an original platen 10, and when the length of the original P from an original reference Q matching part to the end part Pa of the original P is 371mm e.g., a cursor 3 is slided along the scale 2 and the measuring piece 7 is made to coincide with the end part Pa of the original, an indication piece 5a indicates '1.13' of the upper scale 1a and an indication piece 5a indicates '0.8' of the lower scale 1b. To enlarge the original P up to size A3, the copy of size A3 can be obtained by indicating 113% zooming magnification by an input button or the like of a variable power operation part of a copying machine. On the other hand, the original P can be contracted down to size A4 by inputting 80% zooming magnification to the power variable operation part. |
