On a folding box, opposite lateral walls 4 are provided with joining tabs 7 which are joined to the adjacent lateral walls 3. These joining tabs 7 are extended by supports tabs 13 which bear on the bottom 2 of the box. In order that these support tabs do not separate when loading the box, appendages 14, 15 or hollowings are provided on the bottom behind which the support tabs are inserted. Furthermore, the support tabs may be reinforced to increase the strength of the folding box. <IMAGE>
