PURPOSE:To simplify the circuit and to make the operation stable by using a mean DC detector so as to control a DC APD. CONSTITUTION:A mean value of a signal current of an APD 1 is detected by a mean DC current detector 4, the voltage and a reference voltage are compared and amplified (5) to control a DC/DC converter 6. Thus, number of multiplication of the APD 1 is controlled, negative feedback is operated so that the mean DC of the APD 1 is always constant against the fluctuation of an optical input signal to apply AGC control. |
