PURPOSE:To provide a sharp image of high quality free from bleeding, by a method wherein particles forming upper and lower porous particle layers on a paper are overlapped in pore diameter not more than 30% in degree, and the average pore diameter is smaller in the upper layer than in the lower layer. CONSTITUTION:In a porous particle layer forming a lower layer, particles overlapped with particles forming an upper layer in pore diameter are included not more than 30% when expressed in pore capacity, and the average pore diameter is 0.05-2mum, the pore capacity is 0.05-2.0cc/g, the average particle diameter is 0.1-20mum, and the apparent thickness is about 5-30mum. The lower particle layer is formed on a surface of a paper in such a manner as; porous particles are applied on the paper through a binder of organic series and/or a metallic oxide sol. The upper layer is 0.01-0.5mum in average pore diameter, 0.05-2.0cc/g in pore capacity, and 0.1-20mum in average particle diameter. The upper layer is approximately 5-30mum and 10-40mum when measured with the lower layer in apparent thickness. The upper layer is formed in such a manner as; after being dried, the lower particle layer is coated with particles to form the upper layer using a binder such as PVA, and in some cases, the obtained layer is subjected to a treatment after pressurized. As the porous particles forming the upper and lower layers, silica, silica-alumina, alumina, and the like are used. |
