PURPOSE:To facilitate exchanging operation of a spinneret assembly in melt spinning, by providing a storage cabinet of the spinneret assembly formed into shelves at a position just under a spinning block at the side of a spinning pack. CONSTITUTION:Two upper and lower shelf boards 4 and 5 are mounted parallel at a position just under a spinning block body 1 at the side of a vertical hole 2 for mounting a spinning pack and the upper side is used as a storage cabinet 7 of a spinneret assembly. The lower side is employed as a taking out passage 9 for a used spinneret assembly. The storage cabinet 7 is provided with an upper lid 8 and lids 14 are provided on opened surfaces 11 in the front and back and preferably divided with a guide plate to give a hermetically sealed structure. A receiving table 17 is provided at a position on the side of the shelf board 4 in parallel thereto. A hydraulic pressure cylinder 19 for pushing the spinneret assembly on the receiving table 17 into the storage cabinet 7 is provided at the side of the receiving table 7.
