PURPOSE:To prevent the continuous generation of misspulses by connecting the output of a miss-pulse detecting circuit for detecting that the output signal pulse width is smaller than a prescribed value with the output terminal of a comparison circuit. CONSTITUTION:The increase of the output of an integration circuit 13 is accelerated by adding the miss-pulse detecting signal obtained by obtaining the logical product of the output of an FF 18 and the reverse signal of the output of a signal generating circuit 1 into the input of the integration circuit 13. When the output of the signal generating circuit 1 stands up, the increase of the output of the integration circuit 13 continues as yet. At the same time, the output of the integration circuit 13 is formed into electric discharge wave form and lowers. When two outputs cross, the output of a comparison circuit 4 stands up. Then, a logical product circuit 5, driving circuit 6, and the collector current of a transistor 7 stand up in succession, and the output of an electric current detecting circuit 9 reaches a prescribed value. Therefore, synchronized with the standing down of the output of the signal generating circuit 1, a sufficiently large pulse output is obtained on the secondary side of an ignition coil 8.
