The optical fibres F1, F2, F3, have an end portion F'1, F'2, F'3 each having an axis 25, 26, 27 and these axes are in the same plane P, whereas the mirror 6 is split into parts 6A, 6B, each having at least one transverse edge 28, 29 on the side of the optical fibres; these transverse edges 28, 29 are parallel to the plane P, which has the effect of orienting, perpendicularly to this plane P, the diffraction patterns of the light beam which are produced by the transverse edges 28, 29. <IMAGE>
