This is an electrical apparatus of the kind comprising, in the supply to the electrical unit 10 to be served, at least one "cutout", cooperating with a cutout component 13 which, under the control of a mounting component 14 to be fitted onto the base 12, is mounted movably on the latter between a standby position, in which the conductive elements constituting this cutout are separated from one another, and a service position, in which they bear against one another. According to the invention, between the base 12 and the cutout component 13 there are erected disengageable locking means capable of immobilising the said cutout component 13 in the standby position in the absence of the mounting component 14. Application, in particular, to lighting apparatus, and, in particular to wall lamps. <IMAGE>
