Mixed fillings for munitions with a cartridge comprising coated spherical fragmentable charges

The present invention relates to a mixed filling for a munition with a combustible or noncombustible cartridge. A filling according to the invention is constituted on the one hand by a propulsive powder in grains 6 and, on the other hand, by spherical propulsive charges 5. The said charges 5 are constituted by agglomerated propulsive powder and are coated by a polymer 7 chosen from among the group constituted by thermoplastic polymers and by nitrocelluloses whose level of nitrogen is less than 12.8 %. The mixed fillings according to the invention are less erosive than the prior mixed fillings. They are particularly beneficial for munitions intended for medium-calibre weapons. <IMAGE>
