An anti-theft device, primarily for articles of clothing or garments (1). The device is particularly characterized in that an elongated connector (3) such as a cable (3) or like element is arranged to co-act with an attachment device (4) intended for locked attachment to the garment (1), and also with a locking device in which the connector (3) is intended to be detachably secured and therewith connected to alarm signalling devices incorporated in the locking device. The connector (3) forms part of an electric circuit and the alarm signalling devices (6) can be placed in an active state such that an alarm will be signalled at least when the connector is disturbed in a manner to break the circuit, for example is severed. |
