PURPOSE:To enable an armature to be attracted rapidly toward a striking side yoke and thereby high speed recording to be performed without using a leaf spring, etc. by providing a striking side yoke including a permanent magnet, a retracting side yoke including a permanent magnet, a common yoke connecting the both, a common core interposed between the yokes and a coil wound around the common core, and placing the armature at a position away from the yoke. CONSTITUTION:A coil 16 is not energized during non-recording time and an armature 17 is attracted to neither of yoke sides. If an electric current is applied to the coil 16, the armature 17 begins to be attracted toward a striking side yoke 10 side by a magnetic flux. This attraction action is performed at extremely high speed, and wire 19 advances by the rotation of the armature 17 centering around a support shaft 18, thus performing dot printing. Next an electric current is supplied so that a reverse magnetic field may generate to the coil 16, resulting in the armature 17 being attracted toward a retracting side yoke 12 side. |
