PURPOSE:To attain mutual simulation on an interface between PBX and LAN by using an internal clock source to generate an internal operation clock. CONSTITUTION:To connect the PBX to a node, a network source clock 10 is supplied to the node and an internal operation clock 13 is obtained by an operation clock 11 formed on the basis of the clock 10. A speaking circuit is driven by obtaining an internal clock 16 and an internal frame 19 respectively synchronized with an HW clock and an HW frame obtained from the node. HW input data 20 are inputted to a selecting circuit 21 and internal data 22 is obtained from the circuit 21 and outputted as output data 23. To use the PBX as a single unit, the internal operation clock 13 is obtained from the network source clock 10 through an internal operation clock forming circuit 12 and the clock 16 and the internal frame 19 are obtained from the clock 10 through an HW internal clock forming circuit 24.
