发明名称 RECORDING SYSTEM FOR PHOTOMAGNETIC DISK
摘要 PURPOSE:To make overwriting of high speed data possible by making the initial state a state in which the direction of magnetization is constant at a fixed period and reversing the direction of application of external magnetic field and recording at every overwriting. CONSTITUTION:Initialized state as shown in the figure (a) is obtained by initializing by reversing magnetization at a fixed period. When numbers are given to the position of bits, direction of magnetization at n-th position is upward, and (n+1)-th position is downward. The figure (b) shows writing signals of data supplied to a laser, and the laser is irradiated applying downward external magnetic field. At this time, write pulse is generated at laser power on at (n+1)-th position, and data are written at n-th position. When data is 0 at the n-th position, laser power is made on, and when data is 1, laser power is made off. Thus, a status diagram of bit as the figure (c) is formed, and when compared with data in which the state of bits is written, it can be known that it became a record of return zero.
