PURPOSE:To make possible to utilize infinite low heat source and to simplify the stracture and reduce the failure in the captioned device, by providing plural opening parts, which are to be the entrances of external water, on the hull of the bottom part of a watertight compartment provided in a ship, thereby performing the heat exchange of a condenser by means of the external water. CONSTITUTION:A watertight compartment 9 is provided by partioning the part near a stern and plural opening parts 4, 4' are provided on the outer end of the bottom part of the compartment 9, wherein an inclined surface is provided on at least one opening part so as to easily introduce water upon navigation. And, a condenser 3 which is formed in coil or hair pin like shape is fixed to the bottom part of the watertight compartment 9, then the condenser 3 is cooled since water flows into the component 9 and out to external upon navigation. Further, even if upon the stoppage of the ship, since the ship is oscillated by wave and water flows in from the opening parts 4, 4', the condenser 3 is washed so that heat release is perfectly performed. And, upon a complete stoppage, heat water is risen and flows out from the opening parts 4', 4' and new water flows in from the opening part 4 of the bottom part so that the heat exchange of the condenser 3 is performed, thereby it is possible to obtain the economical cooling device.
