摘要 The invention relates to a device for remote measurement (telemetry) of meteorological data in the atmosphere. Use is made, in particular, of the Doppler effect in order to measure wind vectors. The device consists of an acoustic antenna having at least one electroacoustic transducer and of a shield. The antenna, which is operated in a clock fashion as a transmitter, is used to transmit sound pulses in a directional fashion into the respective measurement region, and the signals reflected from the measurement region are picked up by the antenna, operating as a receiver between the transmission clock pulses, and analysed in order to determine the relevant data. In order, above all, to achieve a relatively low overall height for the device, the axis of the antenna and the axis of the shield intersect at an angle, and there is mounted at the point of intersection of these two axes a reflector which for the purpose of setting different zenith and azimuth angles can be adjusted at least about two axes which are at an angle to one another and extend through the aforementioned point of intersection.
