A stand, useful for infusions, is divided into an upper and a lower part. The lower part consists of a base part 1, a tube 3 fixed on the base part 1 and a support member 4 fixed on the tube 3. The upper part consists of at least one tube 5 with a rod 6 arranged movably within the tube 5. In order to provide the possibility for the mounting of several items of apparatus, a subcarrier is mounted on the support member. This tube with a rod and a further tube with a rod can then be mounted on the subcarrier. <IMAGE>
