PURPOSE:To expand a space switch especially to increase switches of perfect group easily regardless of space switch capacity by incorporating a memory circuit for expanding space switch in a semiconductor integrated space switch device. CONSTITUTION:In an output highway controlling memory 40, a Y address expansion signal YE makes from an output highway terminal 2A to 2B a switching signal for a selection mode or non-selection mode through an address controlling circuit 50. An X address expansion signal is a selection signal that selects one of highway terminals, from 2A to 2B when the Y address expansion signal is selection mode. This status mode is held in a memory circuit in the output highway controlling memory circuit 40, and when logical product of a strobe signal SB and Y address expansion signal became '1', address rewriting can be made. Further, the content of the memory can be refreshed by a reset signal RE, and when the reset signal is inputted, the output highway terminal becomes non-selection state.
