<p>Comminution device with at least one driven roll (12) with positively secured disc blades (16) axially displaced thereon, which are held between counter-supports (32, 34) and over the peripheries of which piercing/cutting teeth project, which are correspondingly displaced one after the other in the peripheral direction. On one side, the blade elements (24) pass in the manner of a comb between the disc blades (16). In place of the blade elements (24) a second roll driven in the opposite direction at a different rpm can be installed with similar disc blades which pass in the manner of a comb between the disc blades of the first roll. All of the disc blades (16) and blade elements (24) are arranged on their appropriate rolls with a sliding fit seat whereby between all adjacent disc blades or blade elements on their appropriate rolls a clearance is left between, thus allowing them to be shifted. By means of the clearance supports (32) a suitable axial pressure is exerted on the disc blades arranged on the front side, said pressure being transferred from this to the next blade elements or disc blades of the second roll and from this again to the next disc blades on the other driven roll. In this way a cutting clearance of a small predetermined size can easily be set without the need for spacers having a high precision and narrow tolerance as was the case hitherto.</p> |
