PURPOSE:To obtain the titled metal die with less burr generation and much shafting by providing the shafting groove for tie rod arm equipping with the projecting wall for drawing at one side of a center boss receiving part and by opposing a burr regulating body and regulating recessed part at the other side. CONSTITUTION:Metal dies 10, 20 provides the shifting grooves 14, 24 for a tie rod arm at one side of the recessed parts 11, 21 for center boss and opposes a burr regulating body 16 and regulating recessed part 27 at the other side. A blank A is pressed by the projecting walls 13, 23 with causing burrs and shafted in the grooves 14, 24 when a center boss 2 and nuckle arm 3 perform the forging by putting the rough worked blank A into the recessed parts 11, 12. The burr B to be caused between the regulating body 16 and recessed part 27 is limited by the reverse L shaped gap, the flow b of the blank A is forced down less, on the other hand, the flow a in the groove 14, 24 direction becomes more and a tie rod arm 4 is formed. In this way the metal die for nuckle forging having less burr generation and much shafting is obtd. |
