PURPOSE:To ensure a seal function and torque holding power, by providing beads for a main plate, restraining the contact area of the main plate and bore grommets, and making the total plate thickness of bore grommets mounting portions bigger than the total plate thickness of other portions. CONSTITUTION:Steel plates 24, 25 are laminated on both sides of a main plate 21 provided with beads 23, and bore grommets 26 are mounted to the circumferential portions of cylinder holes 22. The total plate thickness of the gas seal portion of a gasket, or bore grommets mounting portions is made equal or more than the total plate thickness of the other portions of the gasket. Thus, an excellent gas seal function and bolt torque holding power can be ensured.
